Open House was held on Sunday October 14, 2007 at Fire Station 1. Three demonstrations were the main attractions. The first was a couch on fire  in which a civilian put out with a 10 lb. ABC fire extinguisher. The second was a vehicle extrication that involved the help of the Town of Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corp. where a vehicle was cut apart with a victim inside. Third, was a car fire.

There was food and free gifts to all who attended this great day.
